Description

Our Warm Season Soil Builder Mix includes over 13 different species designed for improving organic matter and controlling weeds. Quick growing

Created a 1/8th acre food plot in mature hardwoods back in may. Most of the soil was clay so wanted to build it up into something more workable. This mix came up pretty quick. Most of everything in mix came up except for sunflowers. Had sunflowers seeds in mix but not a single one came up. Otherwise seemed to work pretty decent for first food plot & considering the conditions

    Really grew

Planted in mid July after a winter cover crop using a roller crimper and no till drill. It really grew! We a found a plant for every seed in the mix...
This October we roller crimped the summer mix , planted wheat right into it with a no till drill and the wheat looks good. I was skeptical about these mixes but now I want to try more to save on fuel, herbicides and fertilizer.

    Quick, easy, dense

Planted by broadcast into heavy clay soil on June 17 in costal South Carolina. By September 1, I had a 6 to 7 ft stand and bean growth climbing up to 5 ft. The crop showed signs of insect damage for the first 6 to 7 weeks now there is a huge reduction in leaf damage as benificial insects have moved in. Soil is still soft and pliable and weeds are very suppressed. The overall look is pleasing and I get plenty of questions from the neighbors. Great product even for home and small gardens.
