Spring Barley/Peas (50/50)

    Description

This mix of barley and peas will provide superior nutrition for your grazing, haying, or silage needs this spring. Barley is well known as one of the highest quality cereals and works well with peas to provide a high energy, high protein diet for many types and classes of livestock. Barley can be used prior to corn planting without any allelopathic effects as well. The combination of the fibrous roots from the barley and the taproots from the peas will help prevent erosion in the field.

This product is pre-inoculated with Elevate'd Fungi and Rhizo-Fixer Plus, to increase the biological activity in your soil.
    • Elevate'd Fungi is a seed applied inoculant derived from natural products designed to stimulate seed germination, increase root and biological biomass in the soil, and improve soil structure. OMRI status has been applied for and is pending.
    • Bolster L Inoculant contains multiple families of nitrogen-fixing rhizobia bacteria plus Azospirillum Brasiliense (free living N fixer) and two phosphorus-solubilizing bacteria, Pantoea Eucalypti and Pseudomonas Baetica.
Note these inoculants are NOT currently OMRI approved, however many of our certified organic customers have received approval to use these products. Please contact your certifier and refer to these documents before using this product on organic certified land.
