Honeybee and Pollinator Production

Description

This Honeybee and Pollinator Production Mix was designed in conjunction with the Nebraska Beekeepers Association. This mix features annuals, biennials and perennials that offer season-long pollen and nectar sources. Optimally planted into firm seed bed sometime from mid-April to mid-May in Zone 5 (can be planted earlier in Zone 6 and later in Zone 4) with adequate moisture in the forecast when soil temperatures reach 50-55°F. 1/8” planting depth is ideal, no deeper than 1/4” in planting depth. Can be drilled or broadcast seeded, but if broadcasted, double the suggested rate (indicated on seed mix packaging) is desirable. If overseeding without any site prep (i.e. tillage, chemical treatment, etc.) then 4 times the suggested rate is desired for quality seed coverage.

These seeds are non-GMO and not treated with pesticides.

This product is pre-inoculated with Elevate'd Fungi to increase the biological activity in your soil.
  • Elevate'd Fungi is a seed applied inoculant derived from natural products designed to stimulate seed germination, increase root and biological biomass in the soil, and improve soil structure. This product is OMRI approved.*
*Note to Organic Customers: Please receive approval to use these inoculants prior to using this product on Certified Organic land.
