When is the right time to plant?
Cool Season Sheep/Goat Grazing Mix has a minimum germination temp of 40 °F. Reference your average soil temperature to determine ideal planting time.

Ingredients
Crimson Clover, Common Vetch, Persian Clover, Spring Forage Pea, Spring Oats, Beardless Spring Forage Barley, Forage Collards, Turnip, Phacelia, Flax, Baldy Safflower, Elevate'd Fungi Inoculant, and Bolster L Inoculant
Planting Instructions
Drill seed at 3/4" to 1" depth or broadcast and lightly incorporate when soil temperatures are 40 degrees or higher.
Timing
Planting can occur in spring or early fall when soil temperatures are going to stay between 40-70 degrees for at least a month. Ideally would have 6 weeks of growth before a frost in your area.
Seeding Rate
Plant 54 pounds per acre when seeding with a no-till drill or other planting implement and 75 pounds per acre when broadcasting.
