    Exceeded All Expectations

I planted this warm season soil builder mix just before a rain that we never got. The germination was sporadic through out the field. It would be another three weeks before we got any rain. When the rains came, that cover crop came up and took off like nobody’s business. 45 days later, the stand is thick and lush. The diversity of the mix is unsurpassed. I plan to follow it with crimson clover and rye; then corn. I am really excited about the benefits this cover crop will provide. Kudos to Green Cover Seed. Service and delivery was on point and the quality of the product is definitely extraordinarily. Thank you. I look forward to doing business with GreenCover Seed again.

    First purchase of this product

I'm not a farmer, I used this to plant about 2 1/2 acres for food plots and soil building. Used a plow and disc to till and then broadcast the seed. I used a make-shift drag to incorporate the seed into the soil. It has been about 4 weeks since I planted and the plots are about knee to thigh high already, plenty of deer browsing as well. So far I am very pleased. I would like to us the no-till process, but that equipment is expensive.

    Vermont cover crop

I have not planted it yet. I hope to get it drilled the first week of August when the no till drill is available. Last year I planted it the beginning of July. I hope it’s not too late?
