Each species growth is different than the next so you can enjoy watching the mix naturally succeed. Challenge yourself by trying to identify the seed and then again when the plants obtain some growth.

Planting Instructions

Drill seed at 3/4" to 1" depth or broadcast and lightly incorporate when soil temperatures are 55 degrees or higher. Seeding rates should be increased 30-50% if broadcasting. Plant


Planting can occur mid-spring through the end of summer. For best results and maximum diversity, plant after the last frost but before summer heats sets in.

Seeding Rate

Plant 40-50 pounds per acre when seeding with a no-till drill or other planting implement and 60-75 pounds per acre when broadcasting.
