With a variety of legumes and an excellent lineup of high quality, high tonnage grasses, this mix will provide excellent forage for you livestock. Additionally, chicory and plantain are known for their antimicrobial and antiparasitic properties in livestock, helping keep your herd healthy.

These seeds are non-GMO and not treated with pesticides.

This product is pre-inoculated with MycoGreen NPK to increase the biological activity in your soil. 
  • MycoGreen NPK is a dual inoculant containing ten functionally diverse mycorrhizal fungi and eight bacterial species. This product is OMRI approved.* 
*Note to Organic Customers: Please receive approval to use these inoculants prior to using this product on Certified Organic land.

    What's in the Mix

    When is the right time to plant?

    Cool Season Perennial Pasture has a minimum germination temp of 40 °F. Reference your average soil temperature to determine ideal planting time.

    Ingredients

    Red Clover, Alfalfa, White Clover, Birdsfoot Trefoil, Estancia Fescue, Orchardgrass, Perennial Ryegrass, Meadow Brome, Smooth Brome, Chicory, Plantain, and MycoGreen NPK

    Planting Instructions

    Drill seed at 1/4" depth or broadcast and lightly incorporate.

    Timing

    Planting can occur in spring or early fall when soil temperatures are going to stay between 40-70 degrees for at least a month. Ideally would have 6 weeks of growth before a frost in your area.

    Seeding Rate

    Plant 25 pounds per acre when seeding with a no-till drill or other planting implement and 35 pounds per acre when broadcasting.
