        What's in the Mix

        When is the right time to plant?

        Game Bird Mix has a minimum germination temp of 60 °F. Reference your average soil temperature to determine ideal planting time.

        Ingredients

        Mung Beans, Sorghum, Japanese Millet, Foxtail Millet, Mustard, Radish, Sunflower, Buckwheat, Flax, Sesame, Baldy Safflower, and Yellow Blossom Sweet Clover

        Planting Instructions

        Drill seed at 3/4" to 1" depth or broadcast and lightly incorporate when soil temperatures are 60 degrees or higher. Plant

        Timing

        Wait to plant until after the last frost and soil temperatures are above 60 degrees and rising. Planting of these mixes should be completed by midsummer.

        Seeding Rate

        Plant 25 pounds per acre when seeding with a no-till drill or other planting implement and 35 pounds per acre when broadcasting.
