    View Blocker

Is there a perfect place for food plot where you hunt but it’s visible from the road or a neighboring property?  The View Blocker blend is expertly crafted to establish a tall annual screen that obscures your food plots. This blend features four varieties of sorghum, ranging from a sturdy 5-foot dwarf type to Egyptian Wheat and long-season forage sorghum, which can reach heights of 10 to 12 feet. The shorter, robust species provide essential support for the taller varieties during the cold winter months. The carefully balanced ratio of species in this mix is designed to maintain an effective screen well into winter and spring. In addition to creating a dense barrier, View Blocker generates abundant biomass while enhancing soil health. Note: This product does contain some treated seed. This product is pre-inoculated with the Green Boost 2.0 Biology Package, so you can reduce your fertilizer usage. Green Boost 2.0 includes: MycoGreen NPK is a dual inoculant containing ten functionally diverse mycorrhizal fungi and eight bacterial species. Elevate'd Fungi is a seed applied inoculant derived from natural products designed to stimulate seed germination, increase root and biological biomass in the soil, and improve soil structure.  RhizoBac X-Tend features high concentrations of multi-species nitrogen fixing rhizobia for peas, vetch, cowpeas, sunn hemp and soybeans. Additionally, free living nitrogen fixing and phosphorus solubilizing bacteria combine for a robust broad spectrum seed treatment for your cover crops.  Healthier and more vigorous plants will lead to healthier animals and bigger antlers!

    Brassica Plus Release

The Brassica Plus Release blend is a forage mix tailored for peak deer attraction and nutrition from autumn to spring. This blend excels when compared to traditional brassica plots by integrating not only brassicas but also a selection of resilient, cold-tolerant clovers. This combination ensures: Peak Attraction: Deer are drawn to this mix with its early fall allure of fresh, tender brassicas and clovers. Winter Nutrition: The brassica bulbs act as a powerhouse of nutrition, sustaining deer through the harsh winter months when food sources are scarce, even if there’s snow on the ground. Extended Forage: In areas with milder winters, the clovers in our blend experience a resurgence, offering a second wave of high-protein forage into late winter and early spring. Turkey Attraction: With this blend, your plot becomes a turkey hunting location also as turkeys area attracted to the flush of clovers during the spring. Traditional monoculture food plots are a thing of the past

We partnered with Grant Woods, well-known wildlife biologist with Growing Deer.tv, to bring you the best possible seed blends for growing healthy deer and improving the productivity of your land.

With a deep understanding of how to steward the land and the animals living on it (and under it!), Grant developed the Release Process.

    The Release Process

With a deep understanding of how to steward the land and the animals living on it (and under it!), Grant Woods developed the Release Process.

Do your deer fatten up on the new shoots of the soybean field you planted, destroying the crop and go elsewhere to find food for the rest of the season? If you’ve struggled with this, the Release Process is your answer.

    How the Release Process works

When you plant a diverse mix of species they have different growth patterns, certain species will sprout up right away, others will wait a few more days, and still others are the slow ones bringing up the rear. Because of this you will have different species in various points of their life cycle throughout the growing season.

For example, when buckwheat is starting to make a seed, it is less palatable to deer, but sorghum and millet will be in their prime for browsing. Different nutrients are being released at different times to provide high quality nutrition through the entire growth period.

Planting a diverse mix is a slow release—think tire air pressure going down slowly from a small nail hole, whereas planting a single species is like popping a balloon.

The Release Process under the soil

Not only does the release process provide nutrition for your wildlife above ground, but it also keeps the worms and microbes below ground fed. Different plants form relationships with different soil microbes. Through these relationships, plants can access different nutrients in the soil. The microbes in your soil slowly release these nutrients so plants can access them all throughout the growing season.

These underground herds need food too. Soil scientists have estimated that one tablespoon of soil has over 7 billion little microbes. That’s a lot of mouths to feed! Make sure you get them fed with the proper inoculant.

    Feed your soil biology.

All of our food plot mixes are pre-inoculated with our GreenBoost package, ensuring all tiny organisms have a balanced diet. Healthy deer come from healthy plants, and healthy plants come from healthy soil.
