The Plot Release blend is designed to attract deer, prevent weeds from growing, and improve the soil's health! Plot Release includes several forage species that will attract deer during the early, mid, and late season and turkeys next spring. This blend can produce so much forage that it will outcompete most weeds, reduce or eliminate the need to use herbicide and fertilizer the following spring while providing ample quality groceries to attract and feed deer.

Planting Instructions

Plot Release is best seeded using a no-till drill or other seeding device and placing seed at a depth of 1/4" to 1/2". It can also be broadcast into areas with minimal plant competition such as a new plot or one where a seedbed has recently been prepared. Light incorporation or dragging can help with seed to soil contact but don't cover seeds with more than 3/4” of soil. It's best to Increase the seeding rate by 50% when using the broadcasting planting method.

Plot Release should be planted 6-8 weeks before the first average frost date during the fall and when there’s adequate soil moisture or a forecast of rain.

Seeding Rate

Plant 80 pounds per acre when seeding with a no-till drill or other planting implement.
